WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING...

Thank you for your leadership and guidance with our last two stewardship programs. [The 2015] "Consecration Sunday", was a great success. You walked us through each step, answered all our questions, and gave continued encouragement to adhere strictly to the program's recommendations, all being critical elements of a successful campaign.

When we started planning the 2017 stewardship campaign, our consultations with you were so helpful. You presented and discussed many options and with your wealth of knowledge and experience, you helped guide us to the right choice, "Found Faithful". In both campaigns, the concluding sermons you delivered touched the hearts of all those attending. We are so grateful that you were a part of our stewardship campaigns.

With warm regards,

Rev. Larry Erbin, Pastor.

Amelon UMC, Madison Heights, Va.

Lynn Cunningham, Stewardship Chairperson

We invited Rev. David Rash of Stewardship Matters to preach a sermon on financial generosity during a discipleship sermon series at Bethel UMC, [March 2017].  David’s sermon was full of information and very invitational.  Members were offered the opportunity to think of different possibilities of giving to their church, such as estate planning.  People need to hear of these opportunities, and David has such an open way of talking about how we honor God through the way we handle our money.  He also took time to get to know our church, offer written material on stewardship, and meet with our Stewardship Chairperson.  I think we will see the benefits of working with Stewardship Matters well into the future.

Dave Rash has an encyclopedic understanding of Christian stewardship and he shares it with great competence and enthusiasm because he has an authentic passion for Christian stewardship.  His knowledge has helped me to be more certain that I am not neglecting the best resources available.  Time with Dave Rash is time well spent.  I look forward to spending more time with him.

Rev. Reggie Tuck,

Messiah UMC, Springfield, Va.
